The 2007 Goldfield’s Literary Awards were hosted by the Friends of the Bendigo Library and the awards presentation was held in December.
With four major awards and junior, youth and open age categories, the entrants had to write a short story or poem including the word ‘gold’. As well as acknowledging the talented writers in the region, great prizes were provided. The awards presentation night offered an opportunity to celebrate the winning entrants.
