A fund raising event was held in November to raise funds to support initiative to ensure the ongoing operation of permanent accommodation for adults with an intellectual disability.
Maureen was a strong advocate for the disabled before she past away last year. The fund has been established as a tribute to Maureen. The Fundraiser was a Shoe Party & Jewellery/Nutrimetics/Wine held at Maureen’ sister Chris Alderton’s home. It was a most successful night in both raising funds for this great cause and increasing awareness in the community.
